MADISON, N.J. - Following a Landmark Championship, the
conclusion of a regular season and the beginning of the spring
season eight student-athletes have been selected as Landmark
Conference Athletes of the Week. The Athlete of the Week selections
are made by the conference office.

Freshman Jason Banzhaf of Catholic put an exclamation point on his
rookie season as he produced his best effort of the season in the
Cardinals' season-ending win over Goucher. Banzhaf scored a
career-best 32 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in the
win. He was 14-of-19 from the floor (73-percent) in the game and

Senior Stephanie Remington of Scranton produced a pair of clutch
hoops and enjoyed a strong all-around performance as the Royals won
their regular-season finale against Moravian. Remington nailed a
jumper at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime,
then hit another game-tying hoop at the end of the first overtime
session before the Royals prevailed in double OT. She finished with
13 points in the game while adding seven rebounds, three blocks,
two assists and two steals.

it would not relinquish. He also added an assist to give him seven
points for the contest.

Goucher goalkeeper Austin Main helped the Gophers open the 2008
season with a win as he turned in a solid performance in net. The
junior allowed six goals, but only one in the final quarter as

stopped 15 shots in all, and eight in the final period as the
Gophers held on for the win.

Susquehanna sophomore Paul Thistle swept all three track events he
entered and was named the Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Year at
