Landmark Announces Players of the Week

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has released the Players of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Brendan Boken
Scranton (So., F, South Pasadena, Calif.)

Boken led Scranton to a pair of clutch Landmark Conference victories during the week by averaging 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals. He went 8-for-9 from the field en route to 23 points as the Royals rallied from a five-point halftime deficit to win 75-63 at Merchant Marine on Wednesday. He had 13 second-half points and finished with seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals in the win. Three days later, he scored 20 points, pulled down nine rebounds and made three assists, two blocks and a steal as Scranton overcame an eight-point halftime hole to beat Susquehanna, 77-73, in the Long Center. He finished the game 7-for-13 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Josephine Migash
Catholic (So., F, Mechanicsburg, Pa.)

Migash put together two strong performances for Catholic this week as the team went 2-0, clinched a playoff spot and remained tied atop the Landmark standings at 9-1. On Wednesday, the sophomore poured in a career-high 21 points at Juniata, and added five rebounds without committing a turnover in 30 minutes of action. At Drew on Saturday, Migash scored 19 points and pulled down five rebounds. In both games she was 7-of-11 from the floor, for 64 percent.

Colin Eberhardt
Susquehanna (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.)

Eberhardt won the mile at Susquehanna’s Crusader Classic on Saturday. He finished with a personal best of 4:29.63 to rank first in the Landmark this season.

Men's Indoor Field Player of the Week
Ryan Karnopp
Moravian (So., Tunkhannock, Pa.)

Karnopp earned first place in the pole vault at the Crusader Classic hosted by Susquehanna University with an ECAC qualifying height of 4.55 meters (14 feet, 11 inches). It was the second straight meet that Karnopp finished first in the event with an ECAC qualifying mark.

Ashley West
Susquehanna (So., East Hampton, N.Y.)

West set a Susquehanna and Landmark record in the 800 (bettering her own record by more than four seconds. She won the event in 2:14.76 at the Crusader Classic on Saturday and ranks fifth in Division III this season. West also anchored the 4x400 relay to a third place finish in 4:14.42.

Mary Clark
Catholic (So., Wall, N.J.)

Clark broke the Catholic record in the weight throw on Saturday at the Crusader Classic. The sophomore finished with a throw of 14.20 meters to place fourth overall and second amongst Division III competition at the meet. The mark ranks first in the Landmark this season and is tied for eighth all-time. Clark also placed 14th in the shot put with a throw of 10.56 meters.
