    Alex Burman hit a go-ahead, two-run double in the ninth inning and Will Carey closed out an instant classic and the Susquehanna University Baseball defeated TCNJ to kick off regional play in Baltimore. The Lions (31-10) are ranked No. 8 in the latest d3baseball.com national rankings. The victory puts the team in the winners bracket and the River Hawks (24-16) will face the winner of Johns Hopkins and Farmingdale State.

The Gopher men's golf team belongs among the champions as the two-time Landmark Conference Men's Golf Champions. Julian Gonzalez paced the Gophers in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship in what turned out to be the final round of the tournament for the Gophers on Thursday.

    TOWSON, Md. - The presidents of the Landmark Conference member institutions have unanimously selected Katie Boldvich as its full-time commissioner following an extensive national search. She will begin her duties on July 1, 2019. Boldvich, one of 18 female conference commissioners in NCAA Division III athletics, has served for this past year as the commissioner of the New England Collegiate Conference.

Catholic University’s Jon Mierzwa earned Pitcher of the Year honors while Susquehanna University’s Ryan Monroy picked up Rookie of the Year honors. Susquehanna Head Coach Denny Bowers and his staff received Coach of the Year accolades.

The team overcame a steady dose of rain to re-claim its throne at the top of the conference. The championship is the team's first since 2016 and third in the last six years.
