Spring Athletes Earn A Host Of ECAC Honors
A total of 14 Landmark Conference spring sport student-athletes earned spots on ECAC All-Star Teams. The Landmark placed five recipients on both the baseball and softball teams to go along with three women's lacrosse honorees and one men's lacrosse selection.

Landmark Announces Spring Senior Scholar Athletes
The Landmark Conference has selected eight student-athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective spring sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the spring sports sponsored by the conference. The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in all areas of college life including athletics, academics and other extracurricular activities.

Landmark Announces Spring All-Academic Team
The Landmark Conference has announced that 32 student-athletes have been honored with selection to the 2008 Spring Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically.

Scranton Baseball Player Named Academic All-American
Justin Champagne (Mt. Bethel, Pa./Bangor Area), a sophomore on The University of Scranton baseball team, joined some pretty exclusive company today. He was named third-team Academic all-American in a program sponsored by ESPN The Magazine and the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Champagne now becomes the 22nd student-athlete to be honored from The University of Scranton, and the third Royal baseball player to be recognized, joining Greg Moro (honorable mention, 1986) and Scott Sannito (1st-team, 1990).
