Pitcher of the Week Mike Garvey Elizabethtown (Jr, RHP - Middletown, N.J.) In his lone start of the week, E-town junior pitcher Mike Garvey locked up Susquehanna for eight innings in a 5-1 victory on Sunday. Garvey was nearly flawless in the winning effort, allowing just one run on six hits and striking out a career-high nine. He held the River Hawk bats down long enough to watch his team break a 1-1 tie with a three-spot in the bottom of the seventh and add an insurance run in the eighth.
