Juniata Gets Back In Win Column With Road Triumph
CRESSON, Pa. - Junior Bryan Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western)
scored twice and had one assist to lead Juniata College to a 4-0
win over Mount Aloysius College, in men's soccer action Wednesday
night in Cresson, Pa.
Hess scored his first goal, and what proved to be the game-winner,
in the 25th minute. Sophomore midfielder Andrew Steffen
(Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) tacked on another score before the end
of the half, beating Mount Aloysius keeper Brady Griesheimer in the
39th minute.
Hess notched his second of the night in the 53rd minute and then
assisted on Juniata's final goal, scored by senior forward Brandon
Grim (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown) in the 63rd minute.
Sophomore keeper Brian Trinclisti (Lewistown, Pa./Lewistown) and
freshman Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison) split duties in the
Eagle goal, with each recording one save and Trinclisti getting
credit for the win. Griesheimer recorded 10 saves in the Mounties'
goal.
Juniata (2-5-0, 0-0-0 Landmark) outshot Mount Aloysius 27-3, and
had a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they open Landmark
Conference play against Moravian College.
