Greyhounds Get Back On Winning Track

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Moravian men's soccer team snapped a
five-match losing streak with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over
Wesley College in non-conference action on the HUB Quad.
The Wolverines, who were delayed in traffic forcing the match to
begin 40 minutes late, jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third minute
when Justin Lambert headed in a corner kick by Jamie Shure for his
first goal of the season.
The Greyhounds would eventually tie the match in the 68th minute
when sophomore midfielder Blake Ritchey took a short pass from
freshman midfielder Brian Hunscher, turned and snapped a 16-yard
shot into the right corner of the net for Ritchey's third goal of
the year. Moravian scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute
when sophomore defender Gary Grimes hit a long clearing pass to
junior forward Louis Dollarton to set up a breakaway. Dollarton
would stop and chip a shot just under the cross bar in the upper
left corner of the net for his third goal and second game-winner of
the year.
The Greyhounds had a 12-7 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in
corner kicks. Moravian junior goalie Chris Nederostek posted two
saves for his first win of the season while Wesley keeper Nick
Talarico had four saves in the match.
