#Landmark10 All-Decade Team: Women's Swimming & Diving

TOWSON, Md. - The 2016-17 season marks the 10th year anniversary for the Landmark Conference. To help celebrate, the Landmark featured individuals that have stood out over the past 10 years.

Athletes that were named All-Conference First Team a minimum of two times, and/or were named Landmark Player of the Year, during their career will be nominated automatically, and each team had the opportunity to nominate additional individuals for consideration. The All-Decade team was selected by the membership and will be announced prior to the conference championship.

Lisa Brooks | Catholic University

Lisa Brooks was a four-time champion in the 100/200 breaststroke. She posted her best time of 2:23.96 in the 200 breaststroke in 2009, which is still a conference championship record. She was named to the Landmark Academic Honor Roll Team in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

   
 

Joanna Ladas | Catholic University

Joanna Ladas was an eight-time conference First Team selection for the Cardinals. She won the 500 freestyle in 2011, 2012, and 2014 and was a two-time champion in the 200 freestyle (2011, 2012) and 1650 freestyle (2011, 2014). She was also a member of the 800 free relay team that won in 2014. Ladas was named the Landmark Swimmer of the Year and Rookie of the Year in 2011, the only female to win both awards in the same year, and earned Swimmer of the Years honors again in 2014.

   

Basira Knight | Catholic University

Basira Knight currently competes for the Cardinals womens' swimming and diving team, and has made her presence known as a seven-time conference First Team selection. Knight will contend for her 100 breaststroke title at the 2017 championships, winning the event in 2015 and 2016. Her time of 1:04.95 set the championship meet record in 2015. She was also a member of the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay teams that won in back-to-back years in 2015, 2016.

   
 

Julia Wisler | Catholic University

Julia Wisler left Catholic University as an 18-time conference selection and an eight-time conference First Team honoree, including a three-time champion in the 100 freestyle. She was a two-time champion in the 50 free, and was a member of the 800 free relay team that won in 2014, and 200/400 free relay teams that won in 2015. Wisler was named the Landmark's Swimmer of the Year in 2014, was named to the Academic Honor Roll from 2013-2015, and earned the conference's Senior Scholar Athlete award for women's swimming.

   
 

Britt Hogstrom | Goucher College

Britt Hogstrom was an 11-time all-conference selection, including a an eight-time First Team honoree. She was a three-time champion in the 100 freestyle from 2008-2010 and won the 50 freestyle in 2008 and 2009. She was a member of the 200/400 medley relay teams that won in 2008 and won the 200 freestyle in 2009. Hogstrom earned Swimmer of the Year honors in 2009 and was named to the Academic Honor Roll in 2008 and 2009.
   
  

Bethany Natoli | Goucher College

Bethany Natoli won four events in 2008 for Goucher. She on the 100/200 backstroke in the times of 1:02.12 and 2:13.74 respectively, and helped the 200/400 medley relay teams to victory. Natoli earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll Team in 2008 and 2009 and was named the women's swimming Senior Scholar Athlete in 2009.
   
  

Hilliary Palmer | Juniata College

Hilliary Palmer was a seven-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team four times. She was a two-time champion in the 100 backstroke, and helped the 200/400 free relay teams to victory in 2014. Palmer was named to the Academic Honor Roll Team from 2012-2014.


   
  

Paige Agnello | University of Scranton

Paige Agnello was a nine-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team five times. She won the 100 breaststroke in 2013 and 2014 and was the 200 breaststroke champion in 2014 and 2015. She helped the 400 medley relay team to victory in 2012 and was named to the Landmark All-Sportsmanship Team in 2015.


   
  

Carolyn Gillespie | University of Scranton

Carolyn Gillespie was a 13-time First Team selection for the Royals. She helped anchor the 200/400 medley relay teams that won from 2010-2012. She was also a member of the 200 free relay that won in both 2009 and 2012. Gillespie also placed first in the 400 free relay/100 fly/50 free/100 free. She was part of three Landmark Championship teams (2008-10) and was named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll team in each of her three eligible semesters.

   
 

Erin O'Connor | University of Scranton

Erin O'Connor was an 11-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team 10 times. In 2008 and 2009, she won the 50 freestyle, 400 individual medley, 200 butterfly, and was a member of the winning 800 free relay. In 2009, she helped both the 400 free and 400 medley relay teams to titles. A member of three Scranton championship teams, O'Connor was named the Swimmer of the Year in 2008 and 2009 and was named to the Academic Honor Roll Team in both years.

   

Lauren Hosko | University of Scranton

Lauren Hosko was an eight-time all-conference selection, including be named to the First Team seven times. She was a member of the 2008 and 2009 winning 800 free relay team while also winning the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly in 2009. She swam on three winning relays (200/400 free, 400 medley) in 2009. Hosko won three conference championships as part of the women's swimming program and was named to the Academic Honor Roll in 2009.
   

Lauren Wieland | University of Scranton

Lauren Wieland was an 11-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team five times. She was a member of the 2008 and 2009 winning 800 free relay team while also winning the 200 freestyle in 2009. She helped the 400 free relay team to a championship in 2009 and won the 1650 freestyle in 2010. Wieland won three conference championships as part of the women's swimming program and was named to the Academic Honor Roll from 2008-2010. Wieland also earned the conference's Senior Scholar Athlete award for women's swimming.

   

Lexi Cole | Susquehanna University

  Lexi Cole earned 15 First Team All-Landmark selections from 2012-2015. She was a three-time champion in the 200 back/800 free relay from 2012-2014, and won the 200/500 freestyle in both 2013 and 2015. She helped guide the 400 free relay team to back to back championships in 2012 and 2013 and won the 200 free relay (2013), 400 medley relay (2013), and the 1650 free (2015). Cole won three Landmark Championships from 2012-2015 and was named to the Landmark Academic Honor Roll from 2013-2015.

   

Devin Lessard | University of Susquehanna

One of the most decorated swimmers to compete at Susquehanna, Devin Lessard earned 23 First Team All-Landmark selections from 2010-2013. She was a member of the 400/800 free relay teams that won from 2010-2013, and won the 200 fly all four years. She was a two-time champion in the 200/400 individual medley (2011, 2013), and placed first in the 500 free/100 fly/200 free relay/1650 free/200 medley relay. Lessard won three Landmark Championships from 2011-2013 and was named the Swimmer of the Year in 2012 and 2013.

   

Kelsey Lessard | Susquehanna University

Kelsey Lessard was a 15-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team 12 times. She was a three-time champion in the 200/400 individual medley and holds the conference championship record in both events. She set the 200 IM record in 2016 with a time of 2:07.20 and the 400 IM in 2016 with her time of 4:33.81. She also won the 200 butterfly in 2016. She was a member of four championship teams and helped the 200 free relay and 200/400 medley relay teams to a championship performance in 2013. She was named the Swimmer of the Year and Senior Scholar Athlete in 2016. Lessard was also a three-time Academic Honor Roll selection.
   

Erin McElwee | Susquehanna University

Erin McElwee is currently a senior on the Susquehanna women's swimming team. She is a nine-time all-conference selection, including being named to the First Team five times. She has been a member of the winning 400 medley team that has won three titles (2014-2016) and won the 100 backstroke in 2015 and the 200 medley relay in 2014. She has been a part of three conference champion teams, has been named to the Academic Honor Roll twice (2015, 2016) and was named to the All-Sportsmanship team in 2015.
   

Christie Savard | Susquehanna University

Christie Savard was a 13-time First Team selection for Susquehanna. She helped anchor the 200/400/800 free relay teams that won in 2010 and 2011. She was also a member of the 400 medley relay that won in 2010 and was runner-up in 2011. Savard also placed first in the 200 backstroke from 2009-2011, and was first in the 200/400 individual medley. She was part of one Landmark Championship team (2011) and was named to the conference's Swimmer of the Year in 2010. Savard earned Academic Honor Roll accolades in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

   

Katie Willis | Susquehanna University

Katie Willis has made her mark at Susquehanna, winning five events as a freshman. The sophomore won the 50/100/200 freestyle races, setting a championship record in the 200 with a time of 1:54.54. She was also a member of the winning 200/800 free relay teams. Willis earned Rookie of the Year at last year's meet and helped Susquehanna win its sixth straight conference title.
   

Blythe Fentress | USMMA

Blythe Fentress competed in the Landmark in 2015 and 2016 before the Academy departed the conference in the summer of 2016. She was a two-time champion in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, and earned Diver of the Year in both years. She also currently holds the 3-meter championship diving record with a mark of 407.60.
   

Jaqueline White | USMMA

Jaqueline White won three events in 2015 on her way to earning the Landmark Swimmer of the Year. She won the 100/200 butterfly and the 200 backstroke. She was also named to the Landmark All-Sportsmanship Team in 2015.
