Athlete Of The Week
Men's Athlete of the Week Jourdan Stewart, Susquehanna (So., Danbury, Conn.) Stewart won all three individual races he competed in during Susquehanna's Senior Day victory over Scranton on Saturday. He set a new pool record in the 200 butterfly (2:01.03), and added victories in the 100 fly (54.55) and 100 freestyle (49.37). Stewart was also part of a 400 free relay team which registered the top time in its race but swam the event as an exhibition. This is second AOTW award of the 2014-15 season.
Women's Athlete of the Week Annie Bruxelles, Susquehanna (Sr., Hockessin, Del.) Bruxelles swept the backstroke events in Susquehanna's Senior Day victory over Scranton on Saturday, a win which finished off a perfect 6-0 mark in Landmark meets for the Crusaders this season. She touched in at 1:02.10 in the 100 back and topped the field with a time of 2:17.29 in the 200 back. Bruxelles was also part of a 200 medley relay foursome which put up a winning time of 1:52.88. She will enter the Landmark Championships with the second-fastest 100 back time in the conference this season.
