USMMA Men, Scranton Win Claim Third Straight Landmark Swimming & Diving Titles

After three days of competition the results from the 2010 Landmark Swimming & Diving Championship looked a lot like those of the previous two editions of the meet as the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s team and The University of Scranton women’s team each earned their third consecutive Landmark Swimming & Diving Championship.

USMMA Men's Swimming Finishes Second At Metropolitan Championships

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men’s swimming and diving team finished second overall in team points with 1,121.5 on Sunday, which concluded the three-day Metropolitan Championships this weekend at the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center at Rutgers University. The College of New Jersey finished atop the men’s scoreboard with 1,528 points.

Landmark Honors Eight Player of the Week Selection

After a week in which the Landmark crowned two team champions and the remaining winter sports were all in action a total of eight student-athletes have been selected Landmark Players of the Week. The Landmark Player of the Week selections are made by the Landmark Conference office.
