Landmark Honors Second Semester Senior Scholar Athletes
The Landmark Conference has chosen fourteen student-athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective winter and spring sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the sports sponsored by the conference. The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in all areas of college life including athletics, academics and other extracurricular activities. It is the most exclusive award given out by the conference with just 20 honorees for each academic year.

Moravian College graduate mens track athlete Nathaniel Tussey (Perkiomenville, PA/Boyertown HS) has been named to the 2009 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division Mens Track & Field/Cross Country Second Team selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Landmark Releases Spring All-Academic Team
The Landmark Conference has announced that 32 student-athletes have been honored with selection to the 2009 Spring Landmark All-Academic Team. Two male and two female athletes from each of the eight Landmark institutions were selected for the team which honors athletes who have excelled athletically and academically.

Anna Heim Wins Pole Vault At Historic Penn Relays
Moravian College junior Anna Heim (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown HS) won the Women's College Pole Vault at the 115th Penn Relays Thursday. She was one of two Landmark student-athletes competing at the historic meet on Thursday.

Huber Tops High Jump Field At Bucknell Classic
Susquehanna University competed at Bucknell University's Bison Outdoor Classic at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium from April 10-11. Freshman Graham Huber (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) won a jump-off to place first in the high jump, clearing 2.02 meters (6 feet, 7 1/2 inches). With the jump, Huber provisionally qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division III outdoor track & field championships.

Seniors Kelsey Buffenmyer (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) and Katie Tavenner (Oaks, Pa./Spring-Ford) each captured a pair of first place finishes in the women's events while senior Kyle Mazur (Ogdensburg, N.J./Morris Catholic) and Patrick Filamor (Wanchai, Hong Kong/Int' School of Manila) had a pair of individual firsts for the men, at the 2009 Juniata Quad, Saturday at Knox Stadium.

Records Fall For Goucher At Battleground Relays
Goucher's Zachary Martin (Victor, N.Y./Victor Central) set a new school record in the 3,000-meter run when he placed fourth in that event on Friday at the Battlrground Relays. He came back today with a fifth-place performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
