Three Landmark Conference women's basketball players have been named as finalists for the 2010 State Farm Coaches All-America Team as voted by the members of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. The 40 finalists are now in the running for selection to the 10-member State Farm Coaches All-America Team.

Drew Women's Basketball Captures ECAC Win

The Drew Rangers women's basketball team improved their record to 15-11 after a victory against the No. 2-seeded Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins Wednesday night in Baldwin Gym with a final score of 56-53. Dana Cornato had a team high 14 points for the Rangers as they advanced to the semifinal round of the ECAC Metro Tournament.

Late Bucket Gives Juniata Women's Basketball ECAC Victory

Juniata College freshman Alyssia Gordon's (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) jumper with six seconds remaining lifted the eighth-seeded Eagles to a 67-65 victory over number one-seed Delaware Valley College, in Wednesday night's quarterfinal of the ECAC Division III South Region Women's Basketball Tournament at the James Work Gymnasium.

Following a strong season of competition that sees four Landmark teams earn berths in the NCAA or ECAC postseason 12 student-athletes have been selected to the 2009-10 All-Landmark Conference Womens Basketball Team as voted by the conferences eight head coaches.

Landmark Earns Three Spots In NCAA Basketball Tournaments

A trio of Landmark Conference basketball teams will represent the conference in NCAA Division III Tournament play beginning Friday March 5. With Landmark Champions earning automatic bids for the first time, the champions in mens and womens basketball both earned automatic bids while one other Landmark team was selected to the field as an at-large participant.
