Heinio-Widell opened the season in dominant form, winning the 200-freestyle (1:46.74), 100-butterfly (52.56), and 200-IM (2:02.07) in Drew’s 165-131 season-opening loss at Catholic. He also anchored the 200-medley relay team, which finished second by just 0.59 seconds. All three of his individual times currently lead the Landmark Conference.
