Heinio-Widell had a dominant showing at the Ranger Invitational, winning all seven events he entered while setting three school records, four meet records, and two Landmark Conference records. Highlighting his weekend, he broke the 100-freestyle school, meet, and conference records twice, finishing with an NCAA B-cut time of 44.51.
Heinio-Widell also contributed to record-breaking relay performances in the 200-medley (1:31.15) and 400-freestyle (3:04.05) relays while winning the 50-freestyle (20.48) and 100-butterfly (49.93). His efforts rank him among Division III’s top swimmers, including 11th in the 100-freestyle.
