Nancy Nyadongo delivered a breakout performance at the Landmark Conference Championships, earning both Track Performer of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors—the first athlete to claim both awards since 2013. The Goucher College sprinter dominated the competition, winning the 60m dash and 200m dash, with her 200m time of 25.09 setting new conference and meet records. Nyadongo shattered the previous Landmark record of 25.21, set by Moravian University's Amanda Crooks in 2020, and erased a meet record that had stood since 2009 when Moravian's Sydni Wisniewski ran 25.99. She becomes just the second Gopher to win two major postseason awards in the same year, joining Carter Hinton-Ayodele, who was named Rookie and Field Performer of the Year.
