Mogambi led the way for Drew at Lehigh’s Carol and John Covert Classic, winning the discus with a huge throw of 50.26 meters (164-11). Facing a field stacked with Division I athletes, he took the top spot by more than seven feet over Lehigh’s Liam Lovering. The mark smashed his school and Landmark Conference record—set just a week earlier at Moravian—by over three meters and currently ranks 20th in Division III. Mogambi also turned in a solid effort in the shot put, placing 10th out of 34 competitors with a mark of 13.70 meters (44-11 ½).
