Josh Bottger came through on both sides of the ball in a must-win game, helping Lycoming clinch its first postseason berth in program history with a 10-5 victory over Juniata. With the game tied 3-3 and the bases loaded in the fourth inning when play resumed, Bottger delivered a game-changing moment in right field—hauling in a fly ball and firing a one-hop strike to the plate to complete a clutch inning-ending double play. He followed it up at the plate with a go-ahead sac fly in the sixth and added an RBI single in the seventh to stretch the lead. Bottger finished 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI in one of the team’s biggest wins of the season.
