Nyadongo capped a sensational debut year by earning Rookie of the Year honors for the second straight season, adding the outdoor accolade to her indoor recognition. She becomes just the second Goucher athlete to claim the conference's outdoor Rookie of the Year award, joining Destiny Phillips (2012). She sprinted her way into the record books at the Landmark Championships, winning the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.10 seconds to set new championship and league records. She followed that up with a win in the 200-meter dash (24.85) and contributed to Goucher's record-setting 4x400-meter relay team that clocked a championship and league-best 3:50.31.
