Thornton-Fillyaw delivered a championship performance to remember, becoming Goucher's second-ever Landmark Conference Outdoor Track Performer of the Year and the first since Jaclyn Kellon in 2011. She dominated the 800-meter run, winning the event in 2:05.28—a time that set a new school record, broke both the league and championship records, and ranked No. 1 in all of Division III. Additionally, she added to her impressive resume by helping Goucher's 4x400-meter relay team to a new Landmark championship record with a time of 3:50.31 and earned a runner-up finish in the 1,500-meter run.
