Niggemeier completed the first weekend of the season, going 4-0 with a string of dominant victories. She started off with a doubles win against Dickinson, winning six of the seven games to help earn the doubles point for Catholic. She also played in the number six singles spot and earned a win in two sets, 6-2 and 6-1. She followed up on Saturday with a doubles win in the number two spot against York (Pa.) by a 6-3 score. She picked up a singles win later in the day against St. Mary's (Md.) in two sets, 6-0 and 6-2, to help the Cardinals secure a victory.
