Senior outside hitter Rosina Esposito started the season with a bang this weekend, as she was named to the 17th Annual River Hawk Classic All-Tournament Team. Esposito finished with 4.33 kills per set in a 3-0 week for SU, winning matches against Chatham, UMass Boston, and Brockport. Esposito hit .317 for the weekend, adding seven aces. Against Chatham, Esposito posted 14 kills and eight digs. On Saturday, she started the day with 16 kills and just one error on 30 swings in a three-set win over UMass Boston, and then followed that up with a 22-kill, 15-dig, and five service ace outing in a five-set come-from-behind win over Brockport.
