Hoffman won the 1,650-freestyle in 16:29.15 to became the first Blue Jay on the men's side to earn a gold medal since 2020. He was also the runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:44.01. The freshman is additionally the first men's swimmer from Etown to earn a major award since joining the conference in 2014.
