Rankine is the first River Hawk since Bryan Majors (2009, 2010) to take home Defensive Player of the Year honors. Rankine closed out his senior campaign ranked second in steals (2.7 per game) and third in blocked shots (1.3). Offensively, he ranked sixth, averaging 17.1 points per game. Rankine has been part of two conference championship teams (2020, 2022) and made the playoffs three times in his four-year career.
