Senior Bridget Monaghan becomes the 11th Lady Royal to be voted Player of the Year and is the fifth in the last six years. The honor is the second of her career after previously winning in 2021. In the 16-year history of the conference, 11 Lady Royals have been bestowed Player of the Year honors.
Monaghan is coming off an impressive championship game, helping Scranton secure the program's 11th Landmark title, and ninth in the last 10 years after scoring 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting. In 27 games, the Florham Park, NJ native has scored in double-digits in 22 games and averages 14.3 points per game.
