Walters claimed a top-five finish in three events at the Messiah Invitational last week. He earned a new personal record in the hammer throw with a mark of 48.37 meters to finish fourth of 45 competitors. In a field of 43, Walters earned a fourth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 49.89 meters and had a fourth-place showing in the discus with a mark of 40.33 meters.
