Perera becomes Drew's fifth Landmark Conference Player of the Year selection and its first since Salikh Gilmutdinov in 2017. He also gained First-Team All-Landmark honors in both singles and doubles for the second year in a row after finishing a combined 10-0 while competing at the top of the lineup. He finished 7-3 in singles, going 4-3 at the No. 1 and 3-0 at No. 2, and was 5-0 in Landmark Conference play. In doubles action, Perera finished 15-5, including 13-1 at No. 1, and also was perfect (5-0) in conference action with Wong-Li Hom.
