Walker produced a Landmark Championship Meet and Catholic program-record jump of 7.35 meters to win the long jump by .20 meters. The senior bested one of the program's longest-standing records, bettering Bill Ennis' mark of 7.14 meters set in May of 1969. Walker owns five different program records as the mark puts him 12th in the country. On Sunday, the senior picked up his second gold medal after winning the triple jump with a leap of 14.39 meters. Walker broke his own program record with the jump and is currently in a tie for 26th nationally.
