Lanahan broke a pair of his own program records and won the mile at Saturday's Big Apple Invitational against a challenging field that included several Division I competitors. The Mendham, N.J., native won the mile with a time of 4:14.51, breaking his previous best of 4:17.94 and sitting as the fastest time in the Landmark Conference this season and the fifth-best in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He also finished sixth in the 3,000 meters in a program-record time of 8:36.32, eclipsing the previous record of 8:37.41 that he had set earlier this season. Lanahan's 3K time is also the fastest in the Landmark thus far and the eighth-fastest in the region.
