The Freeland, Pa., native notched a 6-0, 6-7 (6-8), 7-5 victory over the Greyhounds' Leah Zolotareva as she rallied in the third set after trailing 5-2 and 40-15 with the match on the line before fighting off five match points and notching the win. Nowak's 50th signles win broke Moravian's program record and is tied for fourth-most wins all-time in Landmark history. Earlier in the week, Nowak recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win over Wilkes' Tea Amerise as the Royals rolled to the 8-1 win.
