Lauren DeMarco kept her stretch of lights-out pitching going with six quality outings for the Colonels. She made two relief appearances in Monday's doubleheader against Misericordia, striking out five batters while blanking the Cougars through 4.0 innings of work to pick up her first and second saves of the season. She came on in relief again in Thursday's first game against Scranton, recording one strikeout through 1.2 innings. DeMarco pitched a complete game in the second game against the Royals, allowing only one run on five hits and striking out one batter. She clinched her ninth win of the season with a complete game shutout against DeSales, giving up just three hits while racking up nine strikeouts. DeMarco wrapped up the week with 2.0 relief innings in game two against the Bulldogs, where she added five more strikeouts for her third save of the season. In total, DeMarco pitched 21.2 innings allowing only two runs on 12 hits with 25 strikeouts across the six games, picking up three wins and three saves.
