MADISON, N.J. – Twenty-four student-athletes have been recognized by the Landmark Conference as members of the 2008 All-Landmark Conference Field Hockey Team, as selected by the seven Landmark head field hockey coaches. The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team with 12 honorees on each team, with the selections being made by position. The voting for the All-Conference Team took place after the conclusion of the regular season and prior to the start of the Landmark postseason.

The Catholic University of America and Susquehanna University, which finished first and second respectively in the Landmark regular-season standings led the way with five selections apiece. Three teams were represented in the primary individual awards. Drew University junior Elizabeth Law was voted the Landmark Offensive Player of the Year, while Catholic defender Ro Dixon earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. Catholic Head Coach Gia Cillizza and her staff were selected as the Coaching Staff of the Year for the second-consecutive year. And for the second time in as many years, the Rookie of the Year comes from Juniata as freshman defender Meghan McGlone claims that award.
