Landmark Releases Women's Tennis All-Conference Team

MADISON, N.J. – Following the first completed regular season in Landmark Conference history, 18 student-athletes have been selected to the 2008 All-Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Team as selected by the conference’s eight head coaches. The team consists of a first and second team, with six singles players and three doubles pairings per team.

The Catholic University of America placed two singles players on the first team, while Moravian College had one first-team singles player and three students on the second team. Moravian, the regular-season Landmark Champion, also placed a doubles team on both the first and second team. Catholic and Moravian each claimed individual awards as Catholic junior Rachel Tenuta was named the Landmark Player of the Year and Moravian freshman Kerry McKinley (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII) was the Landmark Rookie of the Year. Goucher College Head Coach Sallly Baum and her staff were recognized as the Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year.
