Landmark Announces All-Conference Baseball Team
MADISON, N.J. – A total of 24 student-athletes have been
honored for their efforts on the baseball field this season with
selection to the 2010 All-Landmark Conference Baseball Team as
voted by the conference's seven head coaches. The All-Landmark Team
includes a first and second team with the voting done by position.
The voting also took place prior to the start of the Landmark
postseason.
Susquehanna University led all teams with six selections to the
team, while Moravian College and The Catholic University of America
each had five. Moravian, which won its first Landmark Championship
and set a new program record for wins, had senior Chris Morrison
earn Pitcher of the Year honors while Head Coach Paul Engelhardt
and the Moravian Coaching Staff were the Coaching Staff of the
Year. University of Scranton senior Chris Bligh was voted the
Player of the Year and Susquehanna freshman Nick Ferlise was chosen
as the Rookie of the Year.
