Landmark Honors Baseball All-Conference Teams

MADISON, N.J. – A total of 24 student-athletes have been honored for their efforts on the baseball field this season with selection to the 2011 All-Landmark Conference Baseball Team as voted by the conference's seven head coaches. The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team with the voting done by position. The voting also took place prior to the start of the Landmark postseason.

Moravian College, which finished atop the Landmark regular season standings led the way with six selections overall, and four first-team honorees. The Greyhounds also has pitcher Brendan Close recognized as the Landmark Pitcher of the Year. Juniata senior slugger John Martinez was voted the Player of the Year, while USMMA freshman Warren Hartmann garnered Rookie of the Year honors. The University of Scranton Head Coach Mike Bartoletti and his staff were voted Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Royals to the conference postseason after a two-year absence.
