Softball Coaches Select All-Conference Team

MADISON, N.J. – Another highly-competitive season of Landmark softball has earned 25 student-athletes spots on the 2012 Landmark Conference Softball Team as voted by the conference's six head coaches. The All-Landmark Team includes a first and second team, with the voting done by position. The voting took place prior to the start of the Landmark softball postseason.

Moravian College which finished tied atop the Landmark regular season standings, and claimed a fifth conference title this past weekend, led the way with nine selections to the team. The Greyhounds also claimed two additional honors with senior Jenna Carmon earning Pitcher of the Year honors for the third time in her career and freshman Dior George claiming Rookie of the Year honors. Susquehanna matched Moravian in the conference regular season win total and senior Lisa Finizio was voted Player of the Year and Head Coach Kathy Kroupa and her staff were selected as the Coaching Staff of the Year. All six Landmark teams that competed this past year earned at least one selection to the team.
