Chadd Lee Selected Landmark Senior Scholar Athlete

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has chosen six athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective winter sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the winter sports sponsored by the conference.

The honorees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and are selected based on their accomplishments in athletics and academics. The conference office will announce the six honorees over the next two weeks.

Susquehanna University's Chadd Lee has been named the Men's Swimming & Diving Senior Scholar Athlete. Lee is a four-time First Team All-Landmark selection and won eight individual events at the Landmark Championships over the last four years. In 2012, Lee earned Landmark Swimmer of the Year honors. This past season, he won three individual events and helped the Crusaders to two top-2 relay finishes as the team placed second overall.

Lee holds four individual program records at Susquehanna and one relay record. He also set the Landmark Conference Championship meet record in the 200 individual medley in 2012.

Originally from Bloomsburg, Pa., Lee is a biology (pre-med) major with minors in chemistry and health care studies. He boasts a 3.91 cumulative grade point average and has been recognized on the Landmark Honor Roll and Landmark All-Academic Team all three years he has been eligible. He is a member of the honors program at Susquehanna and plans to attend medical school after graduation. A Dean's List regular, Lee was also recognized as a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American and served as team captain this year.
