TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships wrapped up on Sunday with the final awards ceremony. Catholic University collected five major awards, while the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy took home three. The University of Scranton and Marywood University picked up one each.

The Mariners' Kevin Lindgren was named the Men's Swimmer of the Year for the second consecutive year. Lindgren dominated the competition over the weekend by winning every event in which he competed. The junior picked up three individual wins and four relay victories. All of the relays broke records and he set new records in the 200 IM and 100 backstroke while hitting NCAA "B" cuts in four of the seven events.

USMMA sophomore William Porter won the 1 meter and 3 meter diving events to repeat as Men's Diver of the Year. He stood at the top of the podium in the 3 meter for the second year in a row and set pool records in both events.

The Men's Rookie of the Year honor was awarded to Catholic's Guido Saccaggi. The freshman tore through the distance events all season and capped off his rookie campaign with a memorable championship weekend. Saccaggi won the 500 freestyle, the 1650 freestyle, and the 400 IM. He set meet and pool records in all three events. Saccaggi's 1650 time set a new conference record and was just .27 seconds shy of a NCAA "B" cut while he hit a "B" cut in the 400 IM. He also helped the Cardinals to a runner-up finish in the 400 freestyle relay and a third place finish in the 800 freestyle relay.

The coaches were split when selecting the Men's Coaching Staff of the Year. Greg Brown and his staff at Marywood share top honors with Sean Tedesco and the USMMA staff. This marks the first Coaching Staff of the Year award for Marywood since they joined the Landmark for the 2011-12 season. The Pacers finished fourth and added more than 60 points to their score from a year ago. Tedesco tallied his fifth coaching honor in seven years of competition in the conference. He led the Mariners to their seventh straight Landmark title with a conference record 950 points.

Catholic senior Joanna Ladas and junior Julia Wisler were named Women's Co-Swimmers of the Year. Both swimmers won two individual events and teamed up to win the 800 freestyle relay. They also combined to finish second in the 400 freestyle relay. Ladas earned top honors after being named Swimmer of the Year in 2011. After missing the 2013 championships, she came back and won the 500 freestyle for the third time in her career and the 1650 freestyle for the second time. Wisler won the 100 freestyle for the third consecutive year and repeated as champion in the 50 freestyle.

The Cardinals' Christine Loughery earned Women's Rookie of the Year honors. She won the 200 freestyle and finished second in the 100 freestyle to Wisler. Loughery also teamed up with Ladas and Wisler to win the 800 freestyle relay and finish second in the 400 freestyle relay.

Scranton's Colleen Barry prevented the Catholic sweep by earning Women's Diver of the Year honors. The junior has been named the top Landmark diver for the third consecutive year. Barry won the 1 meter dive with a new meet, conference, and pool record. She also finished third in the 3 meter dive.

Catholic head coach Paul Waas and his staff were named the Women's Coaching Staff of the Year for the second year in a row, and third time in four years. The Cardinals finished third and took home five individual wins to go along with one relay.

First Team All-Landmark honors are awarded to those swimmers who finishes first at the Landmark Championships while second place finishers earn Second Team All-Landmark recognition. USMMA led the seven men's teams with eight student-athletes named to the First Team while winning nine individual events and all five relays. The women's First Team features seven Susquehanna Crusaders who combined to win five individual events and two relays. Catholic and Juniata are represented on the First Team with four women each.
