TOWSON, Md. – Susquehanna University senior Hunter Pitman earned Landmark Player of the Year honors, the first River Hawk to earn the award. Juniata College's Nicole Piccioni was Named Defensive Player of the Year and Elizabethtown College's Chloe Smith received Rookie of the Year. University of Scranton staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year.

Pitman led the conference in scoring with 21 goals and added four assists for a league-leading 46 points. Against conference opponents, the forward finished with eight goals and 16 points during the regular season. Last Wednesday, Pitman scored the River Hawks second goal, which proved to be the game-winner, to help SU advance to the Landmark Field Hockey championship game. In the championship game on Saturday against The University of Scranton, the senior scored the River Hawk's loan goal. Tuesday's honor marks the fourth time Pitman has earned All-Conference honors, and third time being named to the First Team.

Piccioni becomes the Eagles third Defensive Player of the Year selection, and first in 10 years, joining Heather Hassinger (2007) and Meghan McGlone (2009). The first-time all-conference honoree earned her spot after helping the Eagles to a 9-9 overall record and 4-3 in conference. She made 88 saves and posted 1.49 goals against average.

Smith is the Blue Jays first Rookie of the Year honoree since Elizabethtown joined the conference in 2014. Besides holding down the backline for Elizabethtown, Smith chipped in on the offensive end, scoring two goals while adding five assists.

Scranton coaching staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the first since the Royals helped form the conference in 2007. Head Coach Colleen Moyer helped guide Scranton to a 12-7 overall record and a 6-1 mark in the Landmark. On Saturday, the Royals captured the program's first Landmark Conference title with a 4-1 win over the No. 3 seed Susquehanna River Hawks (10-11). The Royals advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1997 and second time ever in program history.

Six players represented Catholic University on the All-Landmark teams, while Scranton had five, followed by Elizabethtown College, Juniata College, and Susquehanna University with four.
