TOWSON, Md. – For the fourth straight year, a University of Scranton women's basketball player was named the Landmark Conference Player of the Year.

Sophomore Bridget Monaghan follows in the footsteps of Kathleen Daly (2008), Megan Kopecki (2009, 2010, 2011), Meredith Mesaris (2015), Sarah Payonk (2016), Bridget Mann (2018), and Makenzie Mason (2019, 2020). The guard helped lead Scranton to its sixth straight Landmark title, and led the team in scoring (14.7 points per game) and steals (1.5).

Monaghan's teammate Maddie Hartnett collected Rookie of the Year honors, making her the fourth Lady Royal to accomplish the feat. She started in all eight games for Scranton and ranked first among freshman in the conference in scoring, averaging 9.3 points per game. She was named the tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring a career-high 16 points in the championship game.

Catholic University's Amanda Johnson is the first Cardinal women's basketball player to earn Landmark Defensive Player of the Year honors in the conference's 14-year history. Johnson led the team with 83 total rebounds, 25 steals, 12 blocks, and tied for second with 23 assists. Her 25 steals ranked first in the conference, while her 83 rebounds finished ranked for second.  Offensively, Johnson averaged a team-leading 15.2 points per game, which is second overall within the Landmark.

Matt Donohue earned his third overall Coach of the Year honor and second straight, after leading the Cardinals to the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. During his tenure at Catholic, Donohue has led his squad to 10 postseason appearances and seven title games - winning in 2012, 2013, and 2015.
