Men's Track Athlete of the Year - Greg Jaindl (Moravian College)
Men's Field Athlete of the Year – Joey Masser (Susquehanna University)
Men's Rookie of the Year – Joey Masser (Susquehanna University)
Men's Coaching Staff of the Year - Susquehanna University (Ethan Senecal)
Women's Track Athlete of the Year – Sara Arbogast (Susquehanna University)
Women's Field Athlete of the Year – Lauren Hahn (Juniata College)
Women's Rookie of the Year – Ellie Bixenman (Catholic University)
Women's Coaching Staff of the Year - Moravian College (Jesse Baumann)
Moravian College graduate student Greg Jaindl capped off his career with three first-place finishes. Jaindl captured the 1,500-meter run for the first time in his career with his time of 3:59.71. He won the 5,000-meter run for the first time with his time of 15:35.19 and won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:49.03, the second time in his career.
He is the seventh Greyhound to be named the Outdoor Track Performer of the Year, joining Ozzie Brown (2008), Eric Woodruff (2009), Donnie Noble (2011, 2013), and John Spirk (2017, 2019).
Joey Masser of Susquehanna University made an impression at his first-ever Landmark Outdoor Championships. The freshman, who was named the conference Field Athlete and Rookie of the Year, took home three first-place and two second-place finishes. Masser won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.24 and won the high jump (1.93 meters) and long jump (6.92 meters). His second-place finishes were in the 100-meter dash (11.15) and triple jump (13.59 meters).
The Susquehanna coaching staff, led by third-year head coach Ethan Senecal, was named the Men's Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the River Hawks to the program's second Landmark title.
Susquehanna University's Sara Arbogast became just the second student-athlete to earn Track Athlete of the Year honors twice in her career. She joins Corinne Glass of Moravian, who claimed the title in 2015 and 2016. Arbogast earned All-Landmark First Team honors in the 400-meter dash with her championship record-setting time of 56.80, breaking her own school record of 57.49 set on April 24 at the Juniata College Invitational. Arbogast also claimed the long jump with a jump of 5.50 meters for First Team honors and had the best mark in the triple jump with 11.49 meters for her third All-Landmark First Team award. Arbogast is now the two-time defending champion in both the long jump and triple jump.
Lauren Hahn is Juniata's second field athlete of the year in a row after Kylie Orndorf earned the honor in 2019. She took second in the javelin, marking 37.79 meters and placed fourth in the hammer throw (10.28 meters). In the discus, Hahn placed third, throwing 34.15 meters to cap off the championships.
Catholic University's Ellie Bixenman continued her dominant rookie season by setting two back-to-back school records in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash. She earned bronze in both races, running a 12.76 in the 100-meter and 25.91 in the 200-meter. The 100-meter record of 12.84 was previously set in April 1975 by Robin Alexander and the 200-meter was ran in 26.23 by Danille Caruccio in May 2014.
The Moravian coaching staff, led by 10th-year head coach Jesse Baumann, was voted the Women's Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Greyhounds to their 13th-straight outdoor title. The Hounds have won the Landmark Conference Outdoor title each year the meet has been held since the conference began competition in 2007-08.
First Team All-Landmark honors are awarded to student-athletes who finish first at the Landmark Championships while second place finishers earn Second Team All-Landmark recognition. The full list of honorees is available below.
