Elliott Voted Men's Indoor T&F Senior Scholar Athlete

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference selects 22 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, and sports information directors.

Colin Elliott is the third Elizabethtown College men’s indoor track & field athlete to win the award. He joins Andrew Lesko (2017) and Tommy Fitzgerald (2018). Elliott is also the third selection this academic year. Christian Schaaf (men’s cross country) and Janelle Barna (women’s soccer) were honored this past fall.

A mid-distance specialist, Elliott has made his mark as an outstanding performer for the Blue Jays throughout his career. He is a three-time All-Landmark Conference performer and has six top-five finishes.

This past year, Elliott closed out his indoor career by earning Second Team honors in the 800-meter run and helped the 4x400 relay team to a bronze medal.

In the classroom, Elliott is a physics and mathematics major with an impressive 4.00 cumulative grade point average and is a three-time Landmark Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll selection.
