TOWSON, Md. – Elizabethtown College's Veronica Christ became the first Player of the Year selection for the Blue Jays since Etown joined the conference in 2014.

Christ was joined by teammate Summer McNulty who earned Rookie of the Year honors and the Blue Jays coaching staff, led by head coach, Veronica Nolt was honored with Coaching Staff of the Year.

Catholic University's Amanda Johnson nabbed Defensive Player of the Year.

After missing the entire 2020-21 season due to Elizabethtown opting out because of COVID-19, Christ closed the final chapter in her playing career in style. The three-time All-Landmark First Team selection led the conference in scoring (18.9ppg), was first in total field goals (176), second in both free throws (83) and free-throw percentage (81.4), and was fourth in total three-pointers with 38. Christ will continue her season this weekend as the Blue Jays earned an at-large bid to the Division III NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

McNulty joins Christ in being selected as Rookie of the Year. Christ was honored in 2018. McNulty ranked second amongst freshmen in the conference in scoring, averaging 12.8 points per game. She also ranked in the top-10 in field-goal percentage (9th), free-throw percentage (5th), assists (9th), points (7th), and points per game (8th).

Johnson earns her second Landmark Defensive Player of the Year after being selected in 2021. Johnson ranked first on the team with 69 assists, second on the team with 152 rebounds, second with 48 steals, and second in blocks with 19. The senior was also a threat offensively, averaging 9.9 points per game. Johnson will play in her first Division III Women's Basketball Tournament after the Cardinals earned an at-large bid.

Nolt and her staff earn their second Coaching Staff of the Year honors. The Blue Jays earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament after going 11-2 in the league. Nolt had her work cut out for her this season, as her roster featured one junior, one senior, and graduate student, Christ. The rest of her roster was comprised of five freshmen and seven sophomores - all of whom were playing in their first collegiate competition. The sophomore class missed the 2020-21 season due to Etown opting out because of COVID-19.
