TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has announced its 2022 Women's Golf All-Conference teams. Drew University swept the awards with sophomore Kayla Diaz earning both Player and Rookie of the Year honors, while Ranger head coach, John Manos took home Coach of the Year.

The All-Landmark teams are based on the results of the championship, with each team consisting of six individuals. The six individuals with the lowest total score are named to the first team, and the next six individuals with the lowest total score are named to the second team. Golfer of the Year is determined based on the lowest score at the championship, while Rookie of the Year is awarded to a first-year player with the lowest total score. Rookie of the Year candidates must be in their first year of intercollegiate competition.

Diaz opened the tournament with a 75, and finished with a new conference record 145, besting her own 36-hole school record by three strokes. In the second round on Sunday, Diaz fired off another new conference record, shooting a two-under-par 70, which included an incredible 32 on the back-nine. She ended the tournament in spectacular fashion, finishing with four consecutive birdies.

Manos has continued a strong women's golf program at Drew as the Rangers have now captured the Landmark Conference title in three of the last five years, having also won it in 2019 and 2020. After opening with a 333 on Saturday, the Rangers closed the tournament with a 330 on Sunday to finish with a 663 - a school record for 36 holes. Leading by 10 strokes following the opening round, they held off a rally from Catholic University to clinch the title.
