Women's Tennis Awards for 2021-22 Season Announced
TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference announced the 2021-22 Women's Tennis All-Conference Teams.
Player of the Year – Anais Dhillon (Goucher College)
Rookie of the Year – Mary Kalorin (Drew University)
Coach of the Year – Scott Veith (Drew University)
Dhillon had a stellar career as a member of the Goucher College women's tennis program. This season, she posted a 5-1 conference record playing at first singles and was 4-2 at first doubles. She is Goucher's third Player of the Year honoree, and first since 2014. She ends her impressive career as a Gopher with a 27-15 singles record and 23-15 doubles record.
Kalorin is the second straight Ranger to earn Rookie of the Year accolades. She posted a 10-8 record at second singles and was a perfect 7-0 in conference play. In doubles action, she went 6-1 against conference opponents and was a combined 12-9 at first and second doubles. Kalorin is the lone freshman on the All-Conference First Team singles and one of two on the First Team doubles.
Veith and his staff guided the Rangers to a perfect 7-0 Landmark record and 12-8 overall. The award is a first for Veith and third for the Ranger women's tennis program.
