Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

  • MEN'S SWIMMING: Leif Hoffman (Elizabethtown College)
    With standout performances in the 1000 free (10:31.87) and the 100 back (56.87), Leif Hoffman secured first place in both events, setting the fastest times on the team this season. These achievements mark season-best performances in both races. Hoffman's efforts contributed to the team’s dominant 153-32 victory over Lycoming, keeping their undefeated record intact.

    WOMEN'S SWIMMING: Emma Church (Susquehanna University)
    Emma Church delivered exceptional performances in back-to-back meets this week. In York, Church claimed victory in the 50 freestyle, with a time of 25.65, and the 100 freestyle, at 56.66. Continuing the momentum at Messiah, she won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:04.69 and secured first in the 100 freestyle at 57.08. Additionally, Church contributed to a strong second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay, clocking in at 3:58.63.
