TOWSON, Md. - Senior goalkeeper Nicole Olson and graduate student midfielder Niamh Healy of the University of Scranton women's soccer program were both named Academic All-Americans by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
All-America Teams
Nicole Olson - CSC First Team Academic All-American
- Olson boasts an impressive 3.97 GPA as a kinesiology major.
- This marks the second time in her career that Olson has been named a CSC First Team Academic All-American (2022).
- The Stoughton, Mass. native marks the first player in program history to be named a two-time CSC First Team Academic All-American.
- Earlier this year, Olson was named the Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete.
- In 2023, Olson earned USC Scholar All-East Region honors.
- Olson is a three time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team (2022, 2023, 2024).
- She is a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll and has been named to the dean's list in all of her semesters at Scranton.
Niamh Healy - CSC Second Team Academic All-American
- Healy holds a 3.64 GPA as an accounting major.
- This marks the second consecutive year that Healy has been named a CSC Second Team Academic All-American.
- In 2023, the Orangeburg, NY native earned USC First Team Scholar All-American honors.
- She is a two-time USC Scholar All-East Region honoree and a three-time member of the CSC Academic All-District team.
- Healy was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
