TOWSON, Md. - After the completion of the 2024 Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championship, the league office announced its 2023-24 Men's Golf All-Conference teams on Monday afternoon.
Player of the Year: Elliot Parker (Drew University)
Rookie of the Year: Juliano Nieto (University of Scranton)
Coaching Staff of the Year: University of Scranton (Ed Karpovich)
The conference recognizes a First Team, Second Team, and an Honorable Mention team.
Drew University's Elliot Parker captured his first individual title to help the Rangers to a second-place finish at the 2024 Men's Golf Championships.
Parker fired an even-par 72 on the strength of four birdies on Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 139 (67-72), marking the second-best two-round score of his career. He beat out runner-up Colin Coogan of Catholic University by six strokes for the title.
Juliano Nieto from the University of Scranton was the top first-year player as he placed in a tie for fifth with a 147 (75-72) to also earn First-Team All-Landmark Conference recognition. He is the third Royal to earn Rookie of the Year accolades, joining Thomas McAuliffe (2018) and Ethan Zawatski (2021).
Scranton head coach Ed Karpovich captures his second straight Coaching Staff of the Year honors after guiding the Royals to its second consecutive team title and sixth in program history. Scranton won the team title with a two-day score of 587 (+11) and edged out Drew who finished second with a 589 (+13).
