TOWSON, Md. – Juniata College’s Isabella Rushing has been named the Division III National Player of the Week, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
Rushing was dominant on the back line and from the service line in a 3–0 week for the fifth-ranked Eagles. She averaged 6.13 digs per set for a total of 49 and delivered 11 aces against Elizabethtown, setting single-match program and Landmark Conference records. This marks the 16th AVCA National Player of the Week selection in program history, dating back to 1993, and the fifth since the Landmark Conference was established in 2007.
The Eagles return home to host Wilkes University in Landmark Conference play and Lebanon Valley in a non-conference matchup, both on Saturday, October 25.
