Scranton Women's Soccer to Travel to Washington & Lee for NCAA First & Second Rounds

SCRANTON, Pa. – The University of Scranton women's soccer team is headed to Lexington, Va., for the First and Second Rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament, hosted by Washington & Lee University this weekend.

The four-team regional will open on Saturday, Nov. 15, with Washington & Lee taking on Marymount at 11:00 a.m. (EST). Scranton will then face Carnegie Mellon at 1:30 p.m. (EST). The winners of Saturday's contests will meet in the Second Round on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1:00 p.m. (EST), with a berth to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 on the line.

Scranton enters the NCAA Tournament on the heels of its sixth straight Landmark Conference championship, securing the league's automatic bid with a 1-0 victory over Catholic on Saturday. Under Head Coach Colleen Pivirotto, the Royals continue to set the standard in the Landmark and remain one of the region's most consistent postseason contenders.
