2025 Field Hockey All-Conference Teams Announced

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has announced its 2025 Field Hockey All-Conference teams and major award winners, who were nominated and voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.

Offensive Player of the Year: Drew Bridges (Elizabethtown College)
Defensive Player of the Year: MacLean Thuermer (University of Scranton)
Rookie of the Year: Bella Fini (Drew University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: University of Scranton

Elizabethtown College senior Drew Bridges led the Landmark Conference in goals this season with 23, including 13 in conference play. She ranked second in assists (11) and topped the league with 88 shots on goal and total points with 57. In the Blue Jays' first round matchup against Lycoming College, Bridges scored twice to lead Etown to a 5-1 victory.

Bridges, now a three-time All-Conference selection, is the first Offensive Player of the Year for the Blue Jays since the conference split the award into offensive and defensive categories beginning with the 2021 season. Before that, Etown had the Player of the Year, Halley Donlin, in 2016.

Scranton senior MacLean Thuermer led the conference with a .821 save percentage and ranked second in the conference with 46 saves. She earned a career-high six shutouts and anchored a defensive unit that allowed only four goals against Landmark opponents. She is only the second Royal to earn Defensive Player of the Year accolades, joining Jessica Pankey, who was honored in 2015.

Bella Fini of Drew University started all 19 games for the Rangers and finished the season with 14 goals, which ranked fourth overall in the conference. As only one of two first-years on the 2025 All-Conference teams, Fini scored at least one goal in nine games, including two multi-goal performances and a pair of hat-tricks.  She is the first Ranger since 2014 and second overall to be named Rookie of the Year.

Scranton’s coaching staff, led by head coach Colleen Moyer and assisted by Michelle Merkel, guided the Royals to the program's third conference title, with a 3-0 win against Susquehanna. The honor marks the third for the Royals field hockey program, and first since 2022. Moyer, now in her 20th season with a 225-135 career record at Scranton, will open NCAA Tournament play on November 12 when the Royals face Bowdoin College in the first round.
