Juniata's postseason streak continues as the Eagles make their 18th straight Landmark appearance. The program has never missed the conference tournament and has claimed every Landmark title since the league's inception, extending a championship run that spans 43 consecutive conference titles dating back to before the program joined the Landmark. Thursday's meeting marks the fifth time Juniata and Susquehanna have squared off in the semifinals, with the Eagles holding the edge in the series.

Susquehanna, meanwhile, has appeared in every Landmark postseason except one (2007) and returns to the tournament under first-year head coach Johnny Powell. The River Hawks are no strangers to facing Juniata in the postseason, having met the Eagles in the semifinals five times and in the championship match 10 times. Susquehanna has managed to take two sets off JC in semifinal play and will look to push the defending champions again on Thursday night.

During the regular season, Juniata swept Susquehanna 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-19).

Scranton has been a semifinal mainstay, appearing in every Landmark semifinal except 2009, the only year the Royals missed the postseason. In those matches, Scranton has won six times. Thursday marks only the second-ever meeting between Scranton and Catholic in the postseason; the first came in 2007, with Scranton winning 3-0.

Catholic is making its second straight trip to the semifinals and the 12th overall in program history. The Cardinals advanced after a thrilling five-set first-round victory over Elizabethtown, overcoming a late comeback to take the decisive fifth set 15-12. Catholic built an early lead in the final set and maintained control, with key plays from Julia Raab helping secure the win.

During the regular season, Scranton took a hard-fought 3-1 win (25-11, 19-25, 26-24, 26-24).

The winners from the two semifinal matches will play in the championship game on Saturday, November 15, at the highest remaining seed.
