Drew Bridges had a pair of goals for Etown in the win. The shots were there for the Blue Jays in the first quarter; it just took a little longer until they were finally able to get one to go. Sophie Myers had the ball out top on the right and sent a long cross toward the back post for Sara Watson, who tapped it in to make it 1-0 a little over 11 minutes into the game. The Warriors came back and took advantage of a scrap around the front of the Elizabethtown cage. Laurel Fite finished off the play to tie the game at 1-1. Bridges and Meadow Keet each scored within three minutes of one another in the second quarter. First, it was Bridges' first goal of the game as she tipped in a shot from Hannah Long out top. Keet scored at the left post, pouncing on a rebound after Watson's shot was saved, and EC led 3-1 at halftime. Hailey Meyer set up Bridges in the third quarter. The sophomore sent a ball toward the middle that Bridges ran onto, maneuvered around a defender, and slapped the ball far post for her second of the night and 22nd of the season to move within a point of 100 for her career. Myers set up Mia Fino a few minutes into the fourth quarter for the Jays' final goal. Fino inserted the corner to Rachel Troutman. The senior swung the ball to Long, who sent it along to Myers to her right. Myers, similar to her assist to Watson, passed across the face of the goal to Fino, who snuck back post after inserting the ball for the goal. Elizabethtown outshot Lycoming 25-6 and tallied 13 corners to just three for the Warriors. The Blue Jays will travel to Susquehanna on Tuesday, November 4.
